Somerville is a close knit, family oriented community of about 500 residents located in Northcentral Alabama about 15 miles east of Decatur and 20 miles south of Huntsville.
We are a community rich in historical tradition and a great place to come home to. Over the last few years, our Mayor and Town Council has taken a very positive approach about preparing for our future. We offer a full array of services including police and fire. We handle everything in house and have a more than adequate supply for growth in the future.
We are a community that is proud of our history but also one that is prepared for our future.
